Default how much booste and power did you make with your stock manfolds??

well im am going to be getting a turbo but i have to use the stock manifolds just wondering what power you fellow members are making?? and where can i get hart parts for the future and what are the cost?

Stock truck exhaust manifolds have seen 1,300 hp plus. It's all about the COMBINATION and the tune. Otherwise, you're just throwing money at a car.

what exhaust manifolds(shorty headers, 6.0 exhaust manifolds ect......) over the stock ls1s would you reccomend???or should i stay with stock??

thaat will fit.....or almost fit that will need a little to hardly no work to fit them?

We use the 6.0 Liter truck manifolds and have made around 1500 without a problem.

As stated earlier in this thread it is ALL about the combination and the tune.

get some 6.0 truck manifolds, there's some guys making some good power with them!!! I don't believe that there any issues with them fitting either.

6l manis are preatty proven. if search was up id reccomend that, but try to look up posts by 2000 Tranz Am(i dont remember exact name)

Truck manifolds - TRUCK. I'm 98% sure the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L exh. mani's are the same on both the 1500 and 2500 series trucks. Not sure about the Pimp daddy Tahoe's. It will be easier to find truck exh. mani's though.

cool thanks should i flip them forward as people are saying or should put them in there stock?? and what type of bolt problems with stipping heads are they talking about?

they wont bolt up the factory way,they have to be flipped.I believe the steering shaft is in the way

I'm sure I'm farrrrrr from top #'s on stock INTAKE manifolds, but my last dyno was 644/701 with boost not holding. Will have updated #'s soon.

I second that... pretty sure all the truck manifolds are the same through the 2006 model year.
