Default vortech guys!

hey guys whats goin on, i may be able to get my hands on a race trim vortech blower off a mustang. i know the piping doesnt match up, my question is, can i order all the piping and accessories needed to mock up the race trim from vortech? and is it worth me getting this supercharger?

What blower? You may have to reclock the houseing. You need to unbolt the housing and physically move it to the desired location.

It also matters if it was off a modular car as well, as they spin a different direction than the 5.0L cars.

Some Mustang blowers are straight discharge, others are curved.

Which head unit is it?

youw will need to make sure i is spinning the correct direction, and you wont be able to just order the bracketry, as vortech only makes the G tim kit

RMCR makes a t/ys trim kit

thanks, i really dont know much about it expect that its off a 4.6l DOHC cobra car and its a race trim

You can always get custom piping done. Either way you'll want to run an intercooler or aftercooler with it.

Race trim would imply its at least a T-Trim I would think. The Modular spin counter clock wise if I remember right while the F-bodies spin clockwise...I think so no that wouldnt be good deal for you...I think.
