Default LS1 Formula MPG??

I just went through my first tank of gas and got 250 miles out of it....an average of about 18.5 MPG.

Is this about average?

Thanks.

Highway driving or in town?, m6 or auto... mods? That's about right for in town driving for an m6.

2000 TA, long tubes, true duals, LS6 intake, '02 LS6 cam, lid, filter, ported TB here, I drive about half and half for highway/city and average about the same as you, and my mileage really hasn't changed since it was stock, so you're doing good at 250 per tank.

Just check your mpg and do the math for your size tank - be nice to your fuel pump and never go below 1/4.

That is damn good if it's city. I probably barely get 200 miles on a full tank.
