Ellis's dad got a PT Cruiser last year and quickly returned it after he drove down the highway and his butt got sore..

The seats are hard as a Rock and the suspension is terrible, he said he could feel every bump...He bought an Impala instead and really loves it...

I would've at least gone with an HHR but more along the lines of a magnum in reality.

Wow, I tried returning a car and they told me Washington has no such law and I was screwed. At least your wife thought she was thinking of you.

Last I heard, you have 72 hours to return a car...after that it's yours...

Seriously? I am loving this State more and more with each passing day.

HUGE signs in dealerships in Commiefornia that say there is no "cooling off" period and once you sign the papers it is YOURS!!!!!!! (And the law backs that up too)

Howard, how long was the car off the lot before you tried to return it? That may have been the deciding factor.

Nope, I just looked it up:

"Remember that there is no three-day cooling-off period or cancellation rights when purchasing a new or used vehicle. Once you sign the contract, you own the car and are obligated to make all payments."

Ok, so now Mark, don't I get points for the fact that I haven't even suggested a car like that in my hunt for a 4 door with a trunk? What a lucky man you are. Of course she didn't have that Bentley that I suggested to you sitting in the garage either.

This cracks me up but works with far too many people. When the spouse isn't there, they say something stupid like "why don't you just take it home and see what it looks like in the driveway? We can check out your trade in and give you top dollar because we will have more time to look it over".

uhhh....I can see what it looks like now and my driveway isn't going to change that. Wish it could but it won't. Trust me, I've tried.

Stve, at least you bought her dinner which is far better than a PT - she would have been hating it in no time.
