Default New N/A best today!

Well I had a best just about every run today till the last and it was my best MPH 118.3

Right out of the box it ran well. I litt it up to a 1.65 60ft and went through the traps the LONG way at 114 MPH and a 11.59. You will have to see the Video to under stand the LONG way (Edited for my Wifes well being, And my continued racing)

So I rolled back and looked at the loggs and the car was WAY lean. Good thing I pumped 5 gal of 100UL in it! So I added a ton of fuel and got back in line.

This time it went pretty straight...well as straight as those damn tires would go all day I hit I launched and it felt ok. She trucked right on down the track to a 11.52 and picked up 4MPH at 118! Looked the loggs over and she was still lean so I added some more fuel again. Some thing was not feeling right with the way the car was leaving so Jim and I played with the Shocks some and figured out I had been told to adjust them wrong

At the tree I bring it up pretty hard on the converter and let it rip! She bangs the 7,000 limiter on the 1-2 shift and upsets the car so it starts swaying back and forth in the groove. It is pulling pretty hard but it is getting kind of bad and at about the 1,000ft i snap off and back on the throttle to keep it from its continued drift to the right. I got through the traps and slowly shut it down. All day there was no way in hell to make the first turn out. We were all going by it at over 100mph!

So I pick up my slip and to my suprise it reads....

60,.....1.593
330....4.695
1/8....7.299
MPH...93.73
1000..9.561
1/4....11.474
MPH...117.83

I am just a littleHAPPY!

I was not really hot on making anouther pass but I dropped the 1-2 shift and lined up again. At the line I push the converter to hard and it slidd just as the tree started to come down. pretty much wasted the best run of the day with a bad 60ft. It only 60ft'd 1.67 but went through the trapps at 11.50@ 118.3..Not good enough for a top five spot

Not bad for a 3,800lbs Pig N/A!

.....Wonder what will happen with new tires and a 200hp shot :

I am not understanding this. Why would you add more fuel if it was rich anyway? Did you mean you put more fuel in the tank to add weight?

Sorry guys it was late when i typed it up.

HERE is an idea. first pass logged as low as .72x/.76x O2s next pass was .810/.840 O2s and next pass was .880/.890s. On the Dyno it was showing 12.5 or so. Just goes to show WHY we do not race dyno's

I need to finish the Widecommander install so I can log some Wide band before I juice it.

It looks alot better on vid then it felt in person

Slow LT1 car

BTW Car Spec's
