M&H Drag Radials?
Has anyone tried a set of the M&H drag radials? I'm particularly talking about the 275/55R16 drag radial and how they fit on the stock 16x8 rim. The recommended size is a 9". If you have tried them how do they hook compared to a Mickey Et Street Radial?

Yea, seems like not too many people are running them. Hey Moparnos, did you run the 16" size or a 15"? I'm wanting to know how the 275 series 16" fits on an F-body. It's a 28" tall tire and I was wondering if there's any fitment issues using the stock rim and the taller tire. I would imagine not, but better to be safe than sorry. I might end up waiting for the new MT sizes to come out, being that they're making a 28" tall tire for the 16" rim. I guess we'll see. LPTXZ28, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Are you on Drag radials now? I'm on a 255R16 MT Radial, but I need a 28" tire now and was wondering how the M&H compare to the Mickey.

I have the M&H 305-40-16. My car has run a best of 11.5s 1/4 and 7.2s in the 1/8 on slicks and 125 spray. I just put the M&Hs on the car about 3 weeks ago with a new converter Yank SS-4000 and could not get the car to hook on ALL MOTOR at the track at all the best 60' was high 1.8s and most 1.9s spinning bad at all the way down to 12psi. Now that I have been driving on them and raping them every chance I get they seem to be getting better!

Is that a slick or a drag radial? I didn't see a 305/40R16 size drag radial on their site. 1.8s are definitely spinning 60fts. So if they are drag radials, then they feel good on the street? That's my main concern. The Mickeys I have now hook well on bare asphalt and even better on concrete. But there isn't a 28" tall MT DR for the stock diameter rim, yet anyway. So the M&H drag radial is a good tire?

Okay I checked it out. The tire you have is pretty much M&H's version of the Mickey Thompson Sportsman tire, it's not a drag radial. It's a bias ply street tire. The 305/40R16 is a 26" tall tire.
