Default mpg with 4:10s

What kind of mpg do you guys with 4:10s get? I thought I would still get good gas millage if I didn't get on it. Going easy I get around 15.7mpg in the city and about 23mpg on the highway. Is this normal or a bit low? What do you guys get?

in an automatic or 6 speed?
with my automatic, i get about 16mpg...and i really don't drive it easy

on the highway the other night i got 18.2 mpg...but that was at about 78 mph the whole way which is about 2900 rpms, so i guess it's not too bad.
hope this helps

I would guess that your part-throttle air-fuel ratio is out of whack. That's what was going on with my car, the WOT looked great, but after I got a wideband I noticed that at part-throttle, it was running pig-rich.

I thought I would get around 18mpg in the city. I have a m6 and I hardly ever get on it to see close to 16mpg. If I romp on it I see about 15mpg. I shift around 2-2500. This engine still has the stock plugs and wires. Think I will see a noticeable difference in mpg if I change those? Engine has about 68k. It also smells really rich at idle. Think the LTs made it run rich?

Did you get it tuned or how did you get the AF leaner?

I just started skipping gears around town. I was surprized that it still pulls well in 5th gear going around 35mph. I hope I can get another mpg or two out of it
