Default Broken FAST Intake

I have a 90mm FAST intake i bought on here while i was in iraq and i just got home and looked at it and saw that that one of the bolt holes where the throttle body bolts up is broke off! Is there a way i can fix this? Is there some sort of glue or fiberglass product that is strong enough to hold this together? Any help would be appreciated!

I would agree, try to find a way to fix that suck shut!!

The manifold comes with five bolt holes so use them all...I have seem where some will only use the bottom two and the top bolt... make a good seal and use all of them...

good luck and welcome home brotha!!!

yep any local parts store carries it.. should only be about 7-9$.. its an industrial strength epoxy that you mix.. sets it 6 hours.. fully cures in 24hrs.. you can fix just about anything with it.. strong as hell too.. ive personally used it on aluminum intake manifolds, heads, plastics, ect.

dont get the "Quick Weld".. get the regular kind.

Well I wanted to let you guys know how the intake turned out so here it is:

I had it painted the color of my car, sunset orange. Its got a nick williams throttle body and LS1 speed rails. I used the JB Weld on the crack which you can see in the one picture and it held up fine. No problems when i was bolting up the throttle body. I will be installing it very soon cant wait! If anyone else had this problem the JB Weld should work fine it did for me and thanks to everyone for helping me out!

That manifold looks awesome! Definatly the slickest one i've seen!

BTW - did that NW90mm tb come with the 90mm o-ring for where it mates up to the manifold? I am going to order the port gaskets and was wondering if i needed to order the o-ring as well. I already got the LSX 90mm here, but the NW90 is on back order, so i have plenty of time.

Any of you guys withe a fast/NW 90mm setup know this?

I was skeptical about the JB weld, but it looks like it did the trick, if it ever breaks again, I know you can get just the top half from fast, no Idea what it costs though.

Thanks for the compliment. I bought the intake manifold off someone here on this site so it already had the gasket. However, i lost the damn thing at first and i had to buy another one for like 15.00 shipped. About 2 days after i bought the new one i found the damn thing, go figure! So if for some reason you do need one let me know and you can have the other one i have for free, at least it will go to some use.

Thanks for the offer man! I just found the one that it comes with in the box, it was doubled over and looked like 2 small ones! I saw "them" right when i opened the box, but didn't snap to the fact there were no other gaskets needed besides the port gaskets! I guess i was just too excited or something...

...who am I kidding, I'm such a dumbass sometimes.....
