True duals/1 chamber flowmasters (sound clip)
I finally got a couple clips of my new exhaust. The quality isn't great, and it sounds MUCH deeper in person but it sounds pretty close. Setup is pacesetter lt's, 2.5" duals with flowmaster crossover and single chamber mufflers. For some reason the video wasn't working well, but the sound is there. Hopefully they both work ok. I'm actually on the stock converter right now. I've tuned the crap out of it, so I have no idle issues or stalling out. It's idling at 700rpm now. I've been planning on swapping to a t56 setup since I bought the car, but with mod money as sparse as it is these days, I don't know when that's gonna happen. I really didn't want to throw a grand at a converter and building the auto when I'm planning on ripping it out anyway. As you can tell from my lack of traction and having to feather it through 1st and part of 2nd gear, it's just fine the way it is for a weekend car that sees very few miles. However, the price of a decent converter has dropped to the point that I might throw a fuddle 3600 in there this summer. The car would be a ton faster with a good 3600 2.2 str stall and some sticky drag radials. Guess I better start buying lottery tickets.

Thanks for the responses guys. I got the "I'm ready for spring now" jitters yesterday and got the car out. Got pulled over my a sheriff not a mile from my house, and I was granny driving too. I'm thinking great....this is gonna be fun explaining this to the wife. The sheriff came up and complimented me on how good the car sounded and wanted to know my setup!!! Turns out he's got an older big block vette. Whew!! Me:1, cops:0
