Default Head Gasket

What is the thinniest head gasket that is recommended for stock unmilled heads and stock engine?

I was thinking of going with a Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal (.026" thick compared to stock .050" thick)

How much will this raise my compression (what would the ratio be)? I will run 93 all the time but I do not want to worry about pinging or engine damage/premature wear etc.

Will my fuel mpg improve or get worse? If so by how much?

This is a daily driver so I want to do it right but would like a little boost as long as it is safe.

With a stock engine & cam will raising my compression actually hurt performance?

stock block 97z28. Will get a pcm tune after too. What should I tune to take advantage of the extra compression? How do tuners tune (like madz28 does) for premium gas and acheive a 5-7 rwhp gain? I have tunercat btw.

I have not measuresd a stock shortblock so I can't really say on compression but on the tuning it is usually leaner fueling and some work with the timing.
