Default Possible power loss with this exhaust change?

I have a 2002 SS thats stock except for the SLP lid, LoudMouth, TransGo kit, and torque management deleted 100%.

It ran consistant 13.6 bone stock.

All the above mods were done at the same time and now it runs 13.2 consistant.

I just ordered an SLP Dual/Dual kit from Speed Inc.
Will this slow me down any? I know the loudmouth is almost like having no exhaust and the dual/dual has to have a little more restriction.

And what about cruise noise inside, I cannot cruise at 40+ and hear a cell phone. Will it be quieter inside?

Is Speed Inc a good company?

Sorry to ask so much, I spent hours last night reading here and listening to ls1sounds.com. I just had some specific questions for my application.

the dual dual will be way way way quieter, speed inc is one of the top company for fbod ls1
I really wouldnt worry about a possible power loss with the new catback, but if you re after those 4 or 5 horses , you might want to just put a cut out in the i pipe, everybody sells them , get the 3 inch, usually 30$
it seems like a good time to do it to since you are ready to put another cat back
I had a louder cat back like you before and for many reasons had to go back to a more civilized route, I just uncap my cut out when I feel the need for it
anyway thats my .02

Yea, I could always get a cut out, never thought of that, I think I will order one.
Thanks.

The Dual/Dual is a great exhaust. ALOT quieter than the Loudmouth. I had the dual/dual and now have the Loudmouth. As for flow, I dont think the dual/dual will slow you down much. The dual/dual is pretty quiet around town but it has a great tone at WOT.

As for you hearing your cell phone with the dual/dual, shoot you'll hear a pin drop inside..

Cool, I think the LM is why my door speakers blew out, had to turn them up so high.
I'm starting to not feel so bad about spending the money on the dual/dual. Thanks.

What kind of tone will the dual/dual setup produce? Low and really deep? Not LM low but old school muscle low/deep....

Cut out is your best friend on some catback exhausts.

You might want to think about a borla. Keep the plates in for the street and take em out for that track. That'll save you getting a cutout.

I've ran 10's at over a 122mph in the quarter through a SLP Dual/Dual.

It flows o.k.
