Default do i need a retune?

Okay so I got tuned after I did my cam install this past summer, TR 230/224 .575/.563 11 lsa, with that cam Mac mids and ypipe, flowmaster cb with 3" cutout, patriot dual gold spings .650 lift, TR hardened pushrods, SLP lid and flowpac induction. STOCK LS1 intake, STOCK unported TB. I dynoed 358 hp at fastech before they closed up.
Sean did my tune and I have been told by many that his tunes are very good just not his bus. skills.

Okay so I swapped to an LS6 intake, LT headers and Ported TB got dynoed again @ USA motorsports in the DFW area and put down 376hp.

does this sound right? I only picked up 18 hp ????

i was thinking that i need a new tune, any thoughts....
thanks
dave

I think you could pick up some more with a tune...the intake and lts are flowing a lot more air

So you've added full LT headers and a different higher flowing intake correct.
I've heard that technically, you could benifit from a retune by altering ANYTHING involving your intake and exhaust profile, including the addition of a lid.
Necessary, prob not, but to get all your gains. Prob so.

Just what ive read from posts on here and technical articles ive skimmed.

I think that there are a few shops that are picking up where Fastech left off with their customers. Not sure which ones off hand though. I bet if/when you find out which ones, you could call and let them know your situation, and it would only be a little bit of money for a retune.

headers and intake changed? a tune will definetly re-awaken the car . with the headers alone its probbly on the rich side . get the tune wou wont regret it at all. as of right now its optimized for the mid-lenths and ls1 intake not for the current setup
