Default Race Prepped 4L60E

Hey everybody, Does anyone know where I could find a race prepped 4l60e besides speedinc.com? I need one that can handle up to 600h.p. before I upgrade to a 400.Thanks.

i did have a race prepped 400 that i bought but it seemed like too much work too install, bolts didnt fit to motor, longer than the stock 4l60e, crossmembers didnt place right, it wasnt computer controlled, I would much rahter go with a 400 but I dont know what to but to make it work and all that stuff.

Hell you could buy a th400 and all the parts you need to install (even the converter) it for the price of rebuilding a 4L60E to handle some real power.
And if you already have the 400, hell thats just $$$ in your pocket.

Yeah but he is not a sponsor on here, so you shouldn't be posting links to his site.

Go with Chuck at FLT. One of the best when it comes to performance transmissions and his cutomer service is second to none.

TCI says that their Super Street Fighter will also handle 600 hp. I am considering buying one of them:

...and they probably also mean it'll handle that much power for only a couple of miles down the road or a couple of passes down the track. That's what I've run into anyway.

Hey man, I would check out FLT, not that there is anything wrong with TCI.
But there is a $2000 difference.

Well it comes with a six month warranty! I'm thining your getting more than a couple passes or miles with a FLT unit!!!! I don't think Chuck is scared of 600rwhp. FLT

But there is a $2000 difference.

TCI Super Street Fighter: $3000.00 + no core charge

Comparable FLT transmission: $2650.00 + ? core charge

I call that about a $350.00 difference, not $2000.00, and then you have the core charge. I like to see comparable cars with these treansmissions to see which one is best. Probably not much difference?
