Hey everybody, Does anyone know where I could find a race prepped 4l60e besides speedinc.com? I need one that can handle up to 600h.p. before I upgrade to a 400.Thanks.

i did have a race prepped 400 that i bought but it seemed like too much work too install, bolts didnt fit to motor, longer than the stock 4l60e, crossmembers didnt place right, it wasnt computer controlled, I would much rahter go with a 400 but I dont know what to but to make it work and all that stuff.

...and they probably also mean it'll handle that much power for only a couple of miles down the road or a couple of passes down the track. That's what I've run into anyway.

Hey man, I would check out FLT, not that there is anything wrong with TCI.
But there is a $2000 difference.

TCI Super Street Fighter: $3000.00 + no core charge
Comparable FLT transmission: $2650.00 + ? core charge
I call that about a $350.00 difference, not $2000.00, and then you have the core charge. I like to see comparable cars with these treansmissions to see which one is best. Probably not much difference?
