Moving to San Antonio
Anybody live in the area and have recommendations as to what part of town to live in? Does anyone dislike San Antonio? It seemed really nice while we were there - for a couple of days anyway. We're just looking for an apartment for now.
How's the car show/cruising/legal drag racing scene?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

north i-10 is nice. especially around the 1604 loop.
also 1604 and 281 is a bomming area now. just dont go central or south....it's ghetto. stay north.
here are my apartments. http://www.broadstoneliving.com/COLO...colonnade.html i love them.

I would also recommend 151 between 410 and 1604 (near Seaworld)...nice area, traffic isn't too bad, access to just about everything. That part of town is really starting to grow.
If you're looking for apartments/townhouses, there are some really nice ones that were recently built at 1604/Bandera.
Good luck with the move!

And I had an apt. locator when I moved here and I looked at broadstone. There were one of the nicest inside, but the neighborhood was kind of bad. Dont get me wrong though they are badass.

I used to live near the 281 & 1604 area. Nice place.
Check out the San Antonio F-Body guys, they usually do something every week.

I live on the NE side, near Madison high. Great spot to live. If you have kids, the schools are top notch.
