Default DMH cutout... where to install switch and what's involved?

I'm about to purchase a DMH cutout

But before I do, I want to know what's involved in wiring it. Is it terribly hard to run the wire from under the car into the cabin? I already have a manual cutout, so I don't need to get the y-pipe done, as it's already there

And where would be the best place to install the switch? It needs to be DISCREET! And by discreet, I mean INVISIBLE to anyone except for me.

Any ideas? Pictures would be great, too. Thanks!

Bring the wiring up under neath the rear passenger seat threw a black drain gromet. Take out that seat just one bolt holding it down. Feed the wire underneath the carpet to the center console then running it to where ever you want it. I put mine in the ash tray.

Sweet. Are there any other clever places to hide it besides the ashtray?

this is what i did too, and if theres any extra wire just leave it under the seat, noone will ever see it, i was wanting to mount mine somewhere but its gonna be hard to cut a hole in somethin cause the lip on the switch is so small that the hole has to be perfect to look good, itd be nice if it came with some kind of mounting hardware

You can take out the rear seat on the passenger side and run the wire under the carpet

I know on the McCord switch fits perfect where the cig lighter used to be in my car. Just pull the assembly out and leave the black ring in. The switch looks factory installed
