Interesting sighting
Went to BW3 last night in Pearland. As I was leaving, I passed a bright yellow car with black rims. It looked a little different, so I slowed down and noticed MONARO badges on it. It was left-hand steering, but it definitely had Monaro badges all over it. Anyone know this car? I mean, I know about the Holden Monaro, just wondering if anyone knows the owner and story behind this car.

Thats probably "HRJ" from Beach City over near Houston. He is on LS1GTO.com and he works at Casa Pontiac. He did the Manaro conversion on his 2005 GTO and I know that HPE did his tuning and such on his car. Has the HPE S cam and bolt ons and puts down around 434hp to the wheels.

I have quite a few friends that live up off Tri City Beach Rd. Some off Cedar Gully, North Point Sub, and a few scattered around some of the newer subdivisions off 3180...
Is Casa Pontiac the dealership headin' west closer to Highlands exit off I-10, the old Reading Buick? If so I know where you be...

Yep, that's correct...the old Reading Buick location. And Cedar Gully is about 1/4 mile north of me....I've seen quite a few Mustangs at one guys house there. That the guy you know?
I just read the link in your sig....700rwhp? Holy crap!...lol. That's awesome. I can't wait to see that car in person.
Well, I'm heading out to Tortuga Cantina at the mall. I'm meeting a coupla of GTO buddies of mine that are wrapping things up at HRP.....time for a Corona and debriefing.
