Default how far can a 10 bolt go???

What's up guys? I have a 2001 SS. It's lowered, it has a thunder racing M.A.F. and a M.A.F. translater. whisper air lid and a mezier water pump, loud mouth exhaust. B.M.R. lca's, P.B.,S.F.C.'s and thats about it but i'm fixin to order a centerforce clutch, nos wet kit (125 pill), and some long tubes. Do i need a 12 bolt first or will the 10 hold it?????btw i also have mt drag radials.

I'd start saving now! That way WHEN it does let go you'll be somewhat prepared.

10 bolt is fine. You buy a few spares and keep them on stand by.

a guy i know use to have a 10 second SS on a 150 shot with DR's he didnt make a ton of passes that im aware of, but it was a m6 and it held until he sold the car, think he sold it on this board actually. but i agree with someone else, just wait til yours breaks but save and be prepared.

At my HP level, I overpower the DR's. So the 10-bolt is holding up well! The T2R really helps. Granted I'm not heating them up on the street, but seriously I can't get traction.

some things that may help are a diff cover and avoiding wheelhop through the right suspension mods. you might want to try slipping the clutch instead of dumping. friend of mine (and member on here) saw consistent low 1.9's/high 1.8's with 315 Nitto DR's on his 6M firehawk. ET's were always in the mid 12's with a prepped track. never broke the rear, ended up selling it.
