Default GT60 and GT67 STS turbos

I was wondering what were the a/r on these two turbos (normal 60-1 / GT67 ) and how much hp each can produce. (Turbo Spec HP)
I am not 100 percent that is the turbo for the regular STS setup.

For example I know the t-70 supports 700 hp but that is what I read about...but I am still looking

I talked to STS and they said it depends on where you live which AR you get. The .81 is on the GT67's and the .96 and .81 are on the 60-1 (depending on elevation).

I wonder why...You think that it's probably due to thinner air is harder to spool the turbo?? That's my guess... What do you think John???

I don't know....Once I get the new turbo in with the .81AR I should spool about the same considering my housing I have now.

So you are going to put the new turbo on??? Once you get everything doctor'd up you should spool quite a bit faster...It's probably going to pull like crazy once you actually hit boost regardless...

http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=32

Here is a link to a car we did a 383 stroker on, the sts kit had the 67mm variant. Spool is great with the converter. At 7psi this car is a rocket, i have not felt 13.5psi which is 708 on our mustang dyno. The midrange torque compared to a procharger is amazing on this setup. A 72mm or a 76mm turbo would make for great top end power on this combo.

I started with the 60-1 and It spooled real quick but seemed not to take the car to redline. And it sounded like a small turbo real high pitched wine. I changed out to the T-70 and it takes a little longer to boost, even with the same size A/R. But man it pulls so hard. It also sounds like a damn jet engine

The base 60-1 taps out around 475 rwhp, that was at 8 psi, with a .81 a/r. I skipped straight to the T76, so I don't know the answer to the question on the 67. My 76 is a .96 a/r, and it has hit 10 psi by around 3500 rpm.

I had the 70trim. Best I could squeeze out of it was 624/678. This was on a .96ar also. It was def out of breath at that power level.

I started with a 67 W/.96 then switched to .81.

The .96 reached full spool at 3500, the .81 is full by 2800/3000.

This is in Missouri around 600ft. above sea level.
