Default Does P1SC head unit swap for D1SC?

I was just curious about this, if i get a P1SC setup and decide that I want more boost in the future, can you swap the D1SC head unit for the P1SC head unit with no other modifications?

Yes, they both use the same housing. You can send in an ATI ProCharger P-1SC to ATI ProCharger, and they will rebuild it into a D-1SC for $1,200.00. The price to upgrade from a P-1SC to a D-1SC when you are first buying the ProCharger is normally less than $200.00. Bob

It sounds like to me that I would just run the D-1SC from the get go and just keep the boost down a little...that's about a $1000 difference and plus the hassle of switching them out and then the down tme too...Goodluck with whatever choice you make....

Aslo when you switch from the P1 to D1 your warranty changes to 90 days after the conversion to D1. Even if you have 2 years of warranty on the P1 (like I do).
