Default FS: Stage 3 4L60E with Yank SS3800
The transmission was upgraded to a Stage 3 back in May of '05 and has about 12k miles on it. At the same time the converter was cleaned out (by D&D) to make sure there wasn't any debris or particles from the old clutches. The converter has about 25k miles on it total. The car shifts like a dream and the converter is great for daily driving too, thats the reason why I bought it. I'm looking to get $1400OBO. WILL NOT SEPERATE! Thanks

Who built the trans? Any more details? What is the torque rating?

It was built by Advanced Racing Dynamics and is supposed to hold about 600 hp. If you want to know full details about the build, call Advanced Racing Dynamics (ARD).

how much horsepower can it hold? and why are you selling it, anything wrong with it? May be interested....

Its built to hold about 600 hp he said. It can most likely hold more, but the question is for how long.

He wants to switch to a 6 speed.

Nothing is wrong with the transmission at all. I've always wanted a 6 speed and now I have a chance to make the swap so I want to do it.
