Default Stall for 398 LT4?

What Size stall for a 398 LT4 with Bauer custom cam? LE Heads. I am thinking of gettin around 3800 stall. Who should i get the stall from? Chime in on this fella's sure do appericate it.

i would say at least a 3500 for that motor. i would go with vigilante... they seem to be one of the best..

Vig or Yank only. Are you going to spray in the future? If so may want to consider that. I git a vig 3200 and with spray it stalls about 3800. Combo is everything!

Why not ask Brett and Lloyd then talk it over with the converter manufacturer of your choice. Yank and Vig are good, personally I like Edge, butwould not tell you the other two are bad by any means.

Yea i'll probably talk to them cause i gotta call loyd about what head gasket to use aswell. What about Fuddle Converters. I hear good things about them aswell? Do yall have any info on them?

Best bet is to ask Brett and Loyd. They know alot more about your setup then we do and could give you a much better answer then us.

Yea i'm gonna give him a call within a couple of days, gonna have my block balanced and everything within a week or so.

I've also heard very good things about Fuddle, you may want to give them a call and see what they can do for you. Plus you really can't beat there price, and I know they are of good quality, and good people to work with. Make some calls, weigh your options... no rush, the perfect setup is the key. No one wants to order a converter, and not be happy with it.
