Newb! And I have a few questions...
I'm in the market for an LS1 for a daily driven fun toy. I already have my weekend warrior car about to go under the knife... I'll spare you the details but it's a 94 Gt with a nitrous fed 347. Anyways. I'm looking into getting an LS1 to take me from work and back (but get there faster than most cars on the road)
All I truely want is an LS1 that can beat up on most C6 Vettes.
Nothing outragous maybe a Small H/C Nitrous powered car.
Remember I'm coming from a Ford and I'm not hip to the LS1 Market yet. so my question is:
Whats a nice streetable combo that would make a C6 Vette run scared?
POST UP WHAT YOU GOT
I was thinking something like:
Full exhaust (Headers/O/R Midpipe/Exhaust)
4.10s or 4.11s (don't know what they offer in a 10 bolt rear)
Livernoise Stage 2 CNC LS2/LS6 heads
Custom Cam
Nitrous
Lid/TB/MAF/Injectors

Those cobras stock yeah that setup can take it but the problem with those damm cobras is that they put $1000 into them and their making around 500 @ the wheels, if you spray you will stand a better chance

you could technically spray a stock ls1 and take a c6.
bolt-ons, mild cam and a 150 shot will kill most cars in stock form. you shouldnt need new heads.
forced induction is a good way to make some serisous power too, but more hassle and cost

My car as far as the internal engine is CAM ONLY, and I will try a C6 or for that matter a C6 Z06. LOL Anyways, I hope you can glance at my setup and times and that helps your decision. But in my opinion, you cant go wrong with and LS1, and you are liable to sell that stang.
