Already answered everywhere as well. Just look around and check those yellow things at the top of the page. It would take a while to go through all the differences, but as far as performance there's not much difference. They have the same basic engine and independent rear suspension. The tranny is in the back of the car and it wieghs less. Handles slightly better, better aerodynamics, dyno's the same, runs about .1 faster in the 1/4 mile due to weight and aerodynamics. Interior build is much nicer. It's a two seater instead of 4. List goes on and on.

The engine is the same, except for a different oil pan, slightly different cam (due to it not having EGR, so the cam profile provides that function) and the Vette also uses a drive by wire throttle instead of a cable.

It also has different exhaust manifolds and a different air intake. The Vette also comes with fuel rail covers while the f-body does not.

He knows that, the whole post was on the corvette and the "they" comment was just for the motor even though it wasn't worded that way.

Sorry about that. Forgot a comma. Plus it was a quick answer.

Was supposed to read more like this "They have the same basic engine, and they have irs."

corvette ls1 uses different brackets and so forth for alt. ps pump and the accessories sit back about 1 inch as far as the block they are the same exact block. They have different "bolt ons" such as headers, pullies, alternator, ps pump and a few other differences
