Default !Grille mod with filled holes....need pics...

I'm thinking of removing the stock grille, but I'm looking for pics of someone that's done it and filled the holes. Please post up...I'll even appreciate pics from those that havent filled the holes

Preferably on a red car...

Thanks!

I tried filling in my holes with some filler I bought from autozone....what a pain in the ***. I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Needless to say...the grill went back on.

How did you take the stock grill off without breaking anything? Just give it a good tug or did you guys take the front end off? I'm thinking about doing this, but prolly just leaving the holes.

I removed the whole front facia, then cut the mount holes out, leaving a nice flat hole to work with...couple layers of fiberglass from the rear of the hole, one thin thin skin coat of filler, paint to match, done deal...looks awsome. dont like any grill insert, thats why i did it....it was ment to be.............

I removed the stock front grill off of mine, but instead of filling the holes I just slapped a Wings West grill on there. It'll give you an idea of what it looks like filled in..........

Don't bother with taking off the bumper. I just pressed firmly on the bumper next to the area I was pulling on and gave it a good tug. Came off fine. I can't decide if I want to fill the holes or get an SLP SS grill.

i took mine off and it made the car look 900x better, dont bother taking that front fascia off, what i did ( i was afraid of breaking the cheap *** bumper plastic ) was pull one side of the tabs out i could and where it was bolted into the holes on the bumper cut the plastic "tab" from the grill and let it fall back into the hole, you can dig it out if you want but i didnt bother lol. BTW, this ruined my grill and i threw it away b/c you will have to slice it up to actually get to those tabs to cut them.....but i knew i wasn't going to put it back on lol.
