NO im not stock at all, but I couldnt think of anything else i could bolt on the car, so i went to thunder racing yesterday, brought the ram air and went to the track that night and saw some time differences. Im really just startin out with my car too, so who ever wanted to know about the lid, if you have any ?'s I'll be glad to help. I got most of my info from this site, but sometimes you can get cussed out if you ask something, so be careful

I have an almost stock 2000 WS6, the previous owner had an SLP lid and some kind of high performance filter. I want to make the car my own so I bought the volant kit with the dual filters that says it seals to your hood (needed a little tweaking) and only picked up max 4 hp, but the area under the curve was a little higher pretty much from 2000 rpm up, torque was almost the same. Both runs had the hood open. Go with whatever you like, but the lid approach is cheaper and looks more o.e., the volant is rather pricey, showed only slight gains, but looks pretty cool.
