Default Removed grille and its uhh.. yeah.

I decided to rip off the stupid SS grille and go naked in the front until I could spare some time to get a new front end painted and the holes cleared up. Unfortunately, time took its toll (and I don't think the fact that the previous owner never cleaned the car helped, either..) and it looks terrible

For some reason there are holes drilled for the front license plate, but went un-used. I guess they did it just to **** me off, no other explanation.

Anywho, here's how ugly it is:

So here's the question: where can I obtain a new front-end at a reasonable cost to fix this tragedy? I'm guessing the dealership is over-priced, and the credibility of inexpensive eBay products are slipping, so if there are any sponsors that sell 'em, please tell me! I haven't seen any yet, but I haven't been looking that hard, either.

Also, how hard is it to take the front-end off? I've only got basic tools and an apartment parking lot to pull this off. Possible?

Why not just buy a grille to cover it up or fill all of the holes in and have it painted?

I can't afford to put my only form of transportation out of commission for more than a day. It's gotta be knocked out over a weekend at most.

Yeah man just fill the holes and have it painted, your description sounded a lot worse than what the pictures show.

Filling the holes and painting should only take a couple of hours. Make an appointment with a bodyshop, take a good book, and wait for them to finish. Should be cheaper than buying a new front and having it painted. Good luck!

i took the front end off my car in like 40 minutes with like 2 wrenches... also, in the parking lot of my apartment, so if that's what you decide to do, it's not hard at all.

The pictures don't really give it justice, but it does look worse in person. The pictures were after a FAIR amount of scrubbing with the rough side of a sponge. Not a bright idea, but I was desperate. Thanks for the input guys, I'll go see what the body shop down the road can do and for how much.

get a SLP grille its a great grille and looks awsome, covers everything up and that sucker isnt gonna come off unless you take the front nose off to push the plastic screws out.

You could detach the front bumper and drive around with it off for a few days while the body shop resprays it. Of course they might want your whole car, so they can color match it to the hood and fenders.

Just buy a grille instead of fixing the wholes. I mean you want to repaint and get fixed or buy a new front clip? Lets think $400 for a front clip or $100 for a grille.
