Default new setup run last weekend 3/19 11.55s

well, people might not be that impressed but it is my DD
98 formula 109K miles
3.73 gears 10 bolt
TCI 3500 SSF conv.
SLP longtubes->full exhaust
KPs old ET perf heads(flowed around 272cfm int @ .600 and 186cfm on the exh. at same)
MTI X1 cam on a 114
stock 16 all around w/BFG DRs out back
comp eng 3ways in back and a air bag
bmr torque arm

1st run
60' 1.67
1/8th 7.3932 @ 94.08
1/4 11.55 @ 118.36
just brought the stall to 2K and hit it,it bumped the limiter on the 2/3
and forgot to put it in D so about the 1K it went into OD

2nd was worse
60' 1.73
1/8 7.55 @ 91.28
1/4 11.78 @117.68
tried to flash it off idle WRONG it spun bad (but I think everyone was having probs second round with track prep)
it hit the limiter 2/3 and hung up so I had to let out and hit it again but
it was in D.

now I have no ram air just a lid with the filter tray cut out
I have a cutout but did not open it

so anyone have an idea of what I will pick up with a FTRA and the dump?
and the car weighs apprx 3450 w me in it

Nice runs. I know my car loves the cutout and the extra air is not goin to hurt anything. Congrats on the times with a DD and all that weight.

Congrats !! I think you would run an 11.3 easy with the cut-out open and a solid hook. Keep us posted.

Naw !! I still have the ol'girl . I was trying to sell it ,but I think I was asking too much for it. I just couldn't give the car away ,but some of these guys on these boards think you should "GIVE" your things away to them. That car runs very strong . 11.1/120 ain't to bad for an 355 LT1 I'll probably run the hell out of it this season and It may hit the 9second zone with a little nitrous help .

I thought you were selling your car at one time too ? I guess you couldn't go threw with it . I do understand , Chris. It's in our blood ,man......it's our blood !!.

well,
went to VMP last night it was about 70* all night and around 46% hum.
as opposed to richmonds 50* and next to nothing for hum.

same 60's

1.68
7.56 1/8th
91.19 mph
11.84 1/4
115.17 mph

that was the best all night!
the cutout hurt my mph by about 1mph (i ran it twice then recapped it)
I built a ram air kind of like SUX2BUs dont know if that helped or hurt?,
mine picks up the air underneath
and it stayed in D for all runs

It kind of seemed like all the cars were running slow
there was a 03 cobra bolt ons pulleys blah blah running 18psi only turning 113.mph
a sts camaro only turning 112.mph
really dont know how to take the night, the mph was really odd
I was probably around 100lbs heavier(pass seat was in,tools in back of car and 1/2 tank of gas as opposed to 1/4 at richmond).

guess I just need to stick to one track

Congrats, seems there's a good 1-2 tenths left, plus the better hook. The mph indicates 11.20s if not better with an solid run. Good luck!
