Default Anyone have pics of a Camaro with Corsa and the Pro-tips

I found a Corsa for sale from a local guy and the price is fair but it comes with the Pro-tips not the premium tips. If i had a TA this wouldn't be that much of an issue but i'm wondering on a Camaro if it won't look that hot. Anyone have pics of a Camaro with the Pro-tips. I don't want to have to settle for something that i don't really like, so i'd hate to pass on something i may like or get something that i'll hate, or if there are any TA guys that might be interested in trading tips and i give you some $$$. Thanks

I love it. Screw the tips! They're gorgeous Corsa tips either way you go. (I actually prefer the Pro-series tips anyways). Don't pass on buying a car because you're not sure about the tips.

Ah, my bad. I read your post too quickly.

That's about all I could find, but it looks good to me!

Thanks, i had found that first pic and maybe its just the angle or something but it looks like those tips stick out way to far and it looks kind of bad. Its one of the main reasons i was considering against it. They look pretty good on the rest of the pics though.

if you don't like where they stick out you can push them in, where they sit is adjustable. i've got corsa with premiums on my ss and you can't beat the sound IMO. i'd definately be buying if i were you, assuming the price is right. i'm getting a new system with the single 4" pro tips for like $650 (for the other car), so check around and make sure you're really getting a deal buying used.

3.5" dual/dual pro-tip or 4" dual pro-tip systems can be found for under $650, new, including shipping, from extremely popular national sellers.

I wouldn't pay anything over ~400 or so for one of these systems used because the pipes take a set to each other when they are clamped up. It might be hard to get it to line up right on another car. If possible you should also try to hear the used Corsa on-car before you buy it, especially if you don't know the person. The Corsa muffler has baffles that can (and do, sometimes) come loose and rattle. It is not common but it is something I would consider looking at a used system.

Premiums are not worth the extra ~$150 in my opinion, but they do look a little better on Camaro's because you can't see as much of plain tail-pipe from the side as the chrome tip body goes back another 4-5" or so. If you are really that picky about it, you could probably get a very similar appearance by just polishing that small section of plain stainless pipe and firing some clear or zoopseal on it. I might actually do that sometime in the future.

I love my Corsa by the way. Very civilized at cruise, throaty idle, and screams at WOT.

I do that here too, otherwise it just gets ridiculous. Over at LS2 we have the hack where any quoted pics are turned to thumbnails. Makes things much easier.
