will a cutout just make the exhaust louder (which would be OK if it souded cooler meaning more lopie) or would it just be the same but louder?

since it's illegal do police look under the car for cutouts to pad there ticket quotat?

How much power will I gain bypassing the muffler thinking of mounting just before going over the axel.

Will sound more lopey and louder and will gain at least a .10sec. Police shouldn't care about cutout, only cats. Best for cutout to go right after y pipe.

With your cam setup I am sure it would be louder and I think the cutout will probably give it a more raw sound that will prolly allow the cam to be more aggressive sounding instead of being smoothed out a little by the muffler. I personally have never heard of any of my friends getting checked for a cutout but im in rural Texas. Anyway, if you are wanting a really cool sound go with true duals=more power. Also, a friend of mine had a cutout on a lowered SS and it drug everything and was a real pain in the ***.

With your setup it will sound MEAN, my car sounds like its gonna kill you w/it open, it just get old though, and I like how it sounds closed.

Just got a cutout put in my I-pipe last week (my car is stock) but I was entirely impressed with it. Much louder felt faster to but who knows it might jus feel faster since the car sounds "faster".

once you get on the highway with an open cutout you will see what it sounds like lol, and at idle nice and lopey especially with a mild/big cam.
