Default Seen a Formula on auto trader for under 11k

Seen a red 98 Formula auto, black leather, t tops, chrome factory wheels etc with 12k miles for $10,999, seems like a great deal with such low miles and looked great in the pictures. Doesn't look like it has been modded at all either. I really thought about getting it, but would be another LS1 I would want to mod and I know I couldn't leave it stock.

That's not a Formy, that's a T/A. I know what the headding says but it is a Trans Am. And the price would be just about right. These cars are just not worth anything to anyone but us.

Especially when there is an '02 Z28 (non SS) in Lynnwood for right around the same price with much less mileage.

Yeah, but Trans Ams seem to be holding their resale better then Camaros. You can find LS1 Z28s for sale for ~8k in WA, try finding any Trans Am (in one piece) for less then 10k.

Its still a lot of miles. I wouldnt buy that for that price. I'd buy it for less, but not 11k.

those were just quick examples. At my local dealership they have a 02 w/ less than 15k on it asking 22 but I was told could sell for 18.

The WS6 is 'buy it now' for 20+k.

Somehow I don't think its as good a deal as it sounds...

The one I posted isn't a good deal at all, was a good deal when the ad said 12k miles, now that they corrected it, it is overpriced.

I agree that it isn't a great deal.

The two Ebay Birds are not located in WA, if they were to show that you can find them for less then 10k. We have inflated prices compared to a lot of other area of the US.
