i rarely ever hear of people going from import to domestic, especially from real fast imports such as the dsm's and evo's. i wouldnt mind havin an evo or wrx, but i would never drop my ls1 completely for one. just wondering why you made the switch when the dsm's and evo's can run just as fast as the ls1's.

"imports = gay. why pay foreign workers and foreign companies and let our own fall to shambles? yeah good idea. GO IMPORTS WOO HOO. durk a dur"
dont get my wrong i love my f-body to death and plan to keep it the rest of my life, but at the same time I realize that the quality of my car and other american manufactured cars just are not up to par with the japanese made cars. The american car companies have been making junk(at least when compared to most japanese autos)for a while now and are finally paying for it. Im glad that the japanese are outselling us right now because it seems as if its the only way to get american car companies to clean up their act and actually start putting some quality work into their cars. Some of gm's new cars including the tahoe and cobalt are getting great reviews and seem to have the quality and detail thats been lacking for some time. I just hope its not too late.

^^ it just makes me mad when people cruise around jap. cars and then complain about the economy etc. and all that ****. oh well this is not a subject for ls1tech nor this thread. i think we see eachothers views on the subject and that's good enough for me. /offtopic ok back to the subject....
