Default 6spd owners. Best times on radials?

http://www.personal.utulsa.edu/~josh...o/too-slow.wmv
I am certain I could of managed at least an 11.7 on my kumho ecsta's. What are some of your best times on radials. Drag radials dont count guys. I am extremely frusterated I didnt hit 11's. That was my last pass of only 4. It was a 2.1 short time.

did you trap 123 or something like that? just break down and buy drag radials cuz even a 1.9 would get you well in the 11s. That is one fast car.

Thats just crazy to try and run that car on radials, and not too safe especially if you spray it. Out of curiousity can't you afford nittos? Or is there something about them you don't like?

I trapped 126.9 mph. I have a damn 10bolt. I had to trade the 12bolt I had to replace my 6 speed. I sprayed 3rd only and 4th for a few feet. It broke loose soon as I hit the button. SO I am forced to race on the radials. I could afford Nitto's but I dont want to break the rear. I am saving for a new 12bolt.

Next week on M/T dr's:

Thank you! I new it would be possible to hit those #'s. I was at 94 mph in the 1/8. I hit the spray near there and belive I hurt myself more due to traction. Wish I had just stayed off the sauce! But it was the last run.DOH! Good driving man.

Ok that makes more sense That would be bad news for the 10 bolt.

If it makes you feel any better I grenaded mine this year with just bolt ons and a 150 shot . I was spinning out of the hole so I started spraying later every run until it hooked, and snap bye bye 10 bolt

I broke my 10 bolt on my first pass on dr's and then on my first pass w/ the 12 bolt my driveshaft went south along w/ the clutch.

Forget the 12 bolt and go for a 9". With the driveline shock you'll be producing from the 408 and spray with a decent tire, you'll destroy 12 bolts like nothing. They are good for auto cars and that is about it.

I ran 11.80s@122mph on nittos (Non drag radial) back in 2000 at MIR. Sixty was 1.95 I believe.

I hate to disapoint you but I dont think there is anyway in hell you could run that fast with kumholes. I have them on my car just for a burnout contest and even after 20 sec of burning rubber they still dont hook at all. Get some bfgs and run 10s. good luck!!
