Default Let's play "What did I break?"

Correct me if I am wrong but, the transmission isn't supposed to seperate from the motor untill the converter is completely un bolted right? And I guess I need to read more on how in the F**K to get those ******* stock converter bolts out. One of the bolts stripped and the bit got stuck in it so as I was prying it out the transmission poped and moved back 3-5 inches.

you could be sliding the tranny off the converter. I'd be very careful though.

If your very careful you can remove the transmission with the converter in place on the flexplate, then take the converter off.
It's not the way to do it, but you didn't break anything.

I guess I am just worrying way too much cause I've never seen the transmission seperate without the converter being disconnected from the flywheel. It's not like I was trying to seperate it it just popped and moved back. Normal that's a sign that my dumb 245 lb 6'3 *** just muscle fucked something alittle too hard.

The trans will come off without the converter if you have enough room for it to do so.
