I dont know if its any better but I personally like the idea of 2 smooth flowing tubes instead of one thing of plastic that isnt as smooth. I also think the 2 black tubes look better under the hood than a big one piece plastic thing. But in the end I've read they all pretty much flow the same and there isn't really any rwhp difference between the aftermarket cold air kits.

Well, the K&N Intake has that bellow in the tubing to help with flow and cooling. It doesn't matter how many pipes you cram in there or how many air filters you have. It's still only taking in a certain amount of air through the throttle body.

I like mine. Looks like it belongs there.
But like dude above implied... A CAI is a CAI is a CAI. It's kind of a preference thing. I got mine for $80 new (from a shop on here that was liquidating their LT1 parts), so if you can ****** it for under that, do it. SLP wants(ed) like 200 or more IIRC.

Thanks for the help, I actually picked one up new from Speed Inc. I will try to take some pics, It was a lil tuff to fit it in with the Mass airflow sensor and the elbow. Espeacially with the air silencer(the Dick). My biggest trouble was craking the rusted body bolts loose to install the filters. One filter actually fell off on my test drive because i didnt Tighten the clamp down all the way. Doh! Looks good under the hood than stock stuff for sure.
