Default Almost done - latest pic update.

Well, after a year of fabicating cages, minitubbing, swapping motors, nitrous setups, etc, I am getting close to finishing the car. In the pics are my W2W 402 with some awsome heads by TEA, a NW direct port by Nitro Dave (we only use the best here at Aschenbach Racing), our latest A.R. ls1 fuel cell and fuel system. Note that there will also be a plate nitrous system on this car soon. Both systems combined will flow to over 450-500 hp....more than enough to get this car in the 8's on a 10.5 tire or drag radials.

Should be firing the car in the next week.....then I'll start tuning.

LOL. I still have to fab up a chute mount......I think I'll make some 1/8 mile passes without it, then make one when I am ready for the 1/4.

if you put the fuel cell in the truck you have to make up a firewall between the inside of the car and the fuel cell. I prefer mounting the cell in the stock location for a few reasons....mostly safety and it just worked better with the way I had our car set up.

The cooler is for the tranny. We are moving it.

i like how your cell is mounted. i have a nasty nate fuel cell that mounts just like stock. kinda wish it had a top like your's where i could fill it from the rear of the car and just seal it off. might have to thinkn about modifying that bad boy. looks good should run strong.

I can have one made up for you...shoot me a PM. We got the idea for the trap door from DERTY @ StenodPerformance and then went from there.

That fuel set up is really slick, both front and rear. The car looks great, can't wait to see some times.

Wont be back down there for a while - work schedule is a little hectic these days. I'll be back soon enough!

Let me know on the fuel cell. For what you are doing why not just go with a 1 gallon cell?
