Talking 440 NA Results Inside

A&A corvette did a great job building my new motor. 440 with LS7 heads and intake, 240/244 112, kooks 1-7/8, 90mm throttle body, electric waterpump, 91 octane (ca crap fuel). Stock exhaust. Thanks to the whole crew at A&A Corvette!!

Wicked power. Congrats on making stellar numbers with a unique combination. Nice to see how your results compare to some of the cam/exhaust numbers from C6 Z06s.

Nice numbers. I have a question though. Why did you go with a cam that size. It seems with 441 cubes a bigger cam would have been fine and maybe made more power. I do see that your tq curve is nice though. Is that the reason you chose that cam?

Great #'s for a small cam and crappy 91 octane!

Driveability was real important. The bigger cam would have lost torque but made more power up top--so this, for me, is the killer combo.

Also through the stock Z06 exhaust

Default Driveability Update

22-23 mpg on the highway 70-80mph ish. The stock exhaust is probably robbing a few hp but it is nice to be able to have a conversation with someone riding in the same car. Put your foot in it and she wakes up

With max power at just over 5500 rpm are you running out of exhaust?

Could have gone with the custom 3 inch exhaust-but it would have been loud. I want to be able to drive down the highway and enjoy some good music or a conversation with my passenger. Probably could have gotten another 10rwhp with the race style exhaust. Wasn't worth it in the final analysis.

Also there is the stealth factor- the car looks stock
