Brad,
I would use our digital window switch with the built in TPS. As for a bracket that mounts the micro switch at the pedal I do not think anyone offers one. You will have to bend the universal bracket to fit your needs.

i have 2 of those sitting in my tool box. i hated it.
i tried one, it got screwed up, put another on it, it worked for a while then came unajusted, so i went to the good old $5 micro switch, and i plan on sticking with it. if you know anyone that wants to buy my good tps one let me know.

Im pretty sure we are talking about two different switches. Our TPS and window switch combo does not use set screws. Also the Zex unit also does not. There are newer TPS units on the market these days that are awesome.

Noyzee- I'll agree with you on the older TPS units, I didn't like them much either. However, there are newer ones on the market that are much much better. The newest one from NX for example, you just wire it into the system and all you have to do to set it is push a button and then push the gas pedal to wot twice and it sets itself. The combination window switch/TPS switch is also another new one that works great and is easy to set.

Regardless of which one you might choose, I would highly recommend using one on a vette. The main reason being that the throttle input from the pedal is interpreted by the ECU and then a signal is sent to the throttle body based in various paremeters that are measured by the ECU. That means that what you are doing with the pedal is not necessarily the same thing that the throttle body is doing.

The one that Dave carries is programmed via push buttons I believe, it's very simple but works very well. I'm sure he'll see this and chime in with more details for you.

Here's the standard mount most guys use. The tps is not needed if you shut your traction control off, but leave active handling on. I run the LAPTRAX, it automaticlly puts car into competition mode (traction controll off, Active handling on) everytime you turn key on. You can still overide and turn traction on manually if weather conditions warrant.

it really sucks that i read this thread now cause when i ordered from dynotune i was not aware of the need for a tps switch and nobody else told me anything so i went with the msd digital window switch instead and now i'm kind of stuck,i should of gone with the tps/windowswitch and it was only 30$ bucks more.

TPS (Microswitch) is included with the DynoTune kit (at least it was with the dry kit I purchased). Its just one less component to install if you buy the combined unit TPS/Window Switch.
