Default VHT Nightshade - does it contain clearcoat?

Or do you need to clear over them when you are done?

you'll want to clear them if you don't want them to fade. And if you want them to not have a grainy finish from the clear, you'll have to wet-sand and then polish them up with an orbital or some elbow grease.

yes clear them i ended up sanding all of it off and had them professionally painted. So much more happier but what do you expect from a 10$ can of paint.

Sure, any clear should work. Maybe about two decent coats, nothing extreme. I just used the spray can clear.

So how much clear do you need to ensure you won't sand it all off?

These will be just the side markers, so they are small and flat and easy to work on unlike tail lights.

Two good coats should be fine.
