stock a4 car?
It will work with the stock rear fine...It will probably fall flat on it's face in 3rd gear, but all 700r4's have that problem too. Never wants to hit 3rd hard either.
I don't know about the driveshaft. 4l60E is pretty much an electronic 700, but it still may have different dimensions.

trannys are the same cases basically except for the electronics and the detent cable provisions, you would have to work out something with a detent cable to the throttle body but im sure somebody makes that.

I would also like to know. I heard a company makes tranny brakes for 700R4 and its true because i saw a car with one. My questions would be wich 700R4 would you need the 27 spline or 30 spline etc.

How high it revs at 80 mph depends on rear tire hieght.
Do this math here--rear gear x trans ratio (.7 for 700R4 and 4L60E) x 336 (locked converter) x 80 (mph) / tire hieght = RPM.
As for the spline count you want a 30 spline input with a matching converter.
27 spline would be 1984 1/2 down to 1982, you don't want one of those and they're getting hard to find anyway.

From what a few tranny guys have told me the design of the trans internals is just not set up to handle that abuse(I was going to go with a trans-brake on my 700 in my 89GTA). Every single builder I talked to said no, no matter how built up the trans is I'll grenade it on one or two good hard launches off the brake.
