Just tell the good doctor where it hurts...

Seriously, I did emissions for 2 goddamn years, I know just about every trick in the book. Just post up why you failed.

BTW... LT1's never pass (just my experience)

Like Jammer Said, What did it fail for and I might be able to help you seeing that I do it for a Living.

JFYI if you buy something ealier than a 96 that goes on the sniffer.(If your Downstate) Newer stuff is the OD test. It all depends on the shop.

If you dont want to air your dirty laundry on a public site than drop me a PM.

Where do you live in New York State? I live on Long Island and I got my car inspected with no cats and a cam. We have the new OBD2 only inspections. I walked in paid 36 dollars and the guy hooked the computer up to my OBD2 port, the car scanned clean and I got my inspection within 20 minutes on a car that could never have passed.

as long as you aren't throwing a code, and you have a half way decent inspection guy, it shouldn't be an issue.. Your going to need to get that beast tuned anyhow, so who ever does the tuning should know about emissions stuff and how to deal with it.. Doesn't matter if you 500cubes, it's all about the computer these days..

yup well said... make sure the car isnt ridiculously loud and isnt throwing codes... bring it to a private inspection place and you have a real good chance of passing
