Default New Set-UP!

This is a narrowed dana-60 rear with 6.14 gears... This will be going in a camaro... car weight should be around 2800 with me in it... tire size is 14x32.5 big bitches... dont know where the times will be but the motor is coming out to be 387 ci small block at 14.25 compression... has the best of everything so we will see how it goes shortly and will keep you updated.. all pics below is everything my old man did... everything is true'd and perfect and took allot of time...
rear end is a little rusty but will be pretty soon

your gonna replace thoose solid bars with coilovers right?

Im guessing your are back halving the car too?

That sounds like it is gonna be a fast ride. When do you plan on it being done?

Back halving cars is not easy. Looks good though. If the car goes straight then congatulations!!

To answer all questions the bars will be replaced with coilovers, and yes it is hard as hell to do this... takes so much time and math and patience and BEER!!! to get you through this... the next step which is just as hard or harder is positioning this in the car... we will be using a dummy motor with a few degree tools and jigs we made to get the center line of the car and get this where we want it... i think this car is going to be a rocket and we can still run the true 10.5 class with different spaced wheels but it will be in the super gas classes or super comp... so that will give you a where about on where the car will run!!

A good buddy of mine from high school backhalved his Nova by himself. It is a super gas car that runs 8.8xs ALL MOTOR.

agreed. That is a ladder bar styled rear end. Looks very nice, good luck with the rest of the build
