Default Realistic #'s for Lid

I just put an SLP lid on my otherwise stock car. I was curious if anyone has dynoed this for a realistic gain? I know they say 10-15 Horse, But I was curious if anyone has seen these gains in real life? Or what its really worth. But hey atleast it sounds better!

IIRC the dyno article about lids (they tested several) gave the LS1 a horse power increase of 5-10

The highest I saw was a while ago on a stock car the gained 18rwhp on the dyno. This was while still strapped to the dyno when they added it. It was the Direct-Flo lid.

Lids are one of the mods you just need. On a stock car 5-15 hp gains.

I heard the SLP lid is good for 10 hp. Hey if nothing else it gives you sound points!

Did you do the free ram air mod too? I did it when I put my SLP lid on and the two really made a SOTP difference plus the sounds are much better.

Yea, I cut out the bottom and front of the box before the lid, that seemed to help some. But hey for $100 its worth the few ponies and good sound, plus it looks better under the hood.
