Default wooohoo

car is done. we started her today. hasn't been started in over 6 months but she started right up . I am just surprised having her done today. It was so shitty out and i didnt think we'd have the time to do both the tranny and intake but we did thankfully. I am finally getting excited about it again

ps- my battery is shot. is there any recommendations on a certain one by any chance? just wondering...

the clutch feels great we drove it in and out of the garage a few times and it seems normal, but i didnt get it out yet so we will see then. I need to get some insurance on it first (goes back on may 5th). The first track day will be may 19th. I just need to get the new battery, replace the plugs and wires, and get the fuel rail covers on and she will be good!!

Yeah I dunno if the FAST is always all its cracked up to be. I added a 90/90 and had it ported by Tony at AFR to match my 205s for some more $$. And I gained 12hp and lost 1-2 ft*lbs. Lost a bit all over the low end under ~4.5k rpms. I think its too much flow for the small cam I've got (.558/221).

Intresting to hear you lost something with tony's intake porting. I am going with a 90/90 setup with my new motor, and was told by tony it would gain across the board.... but then again I'm gonna be running about 56CI more displacment, probably more compression, and about twice the cam you are, probably why.

yea and back onto topic. Griff, I don't think that the FRC just snap on because there is nothing to snap? Maybe someone else can chime in cause I am definitely not seeing this.

The FRC's do just snap right on. they literally clip onto the fuel rails and then it attackes to the tops of the coil packs. If you look at the coil packs 2 of them should have pointed tips. The bottom half of the FRC's clip onto those.
