There was a stock 99 Z28 at the track this weekend running 13.1's. I looked at it, the guy just bought it and is the second owner. It was truly bone stock down to the ls1 manifold with functional egr, factory air lid with silencer bellows, and 245 series tires. There was a C5 auto there running 13.3's so low 13's to high 12's with a 6 speed and good driver would seem right.

Most C5s at sea level will manage low 13s or high 12s. 2.73 A4 C5s will run mid to low 13s. 3.23 and manual F-bodies can get low 13s. But for high 12s in an F-body it takes a factory beast 3.23 or a really good driver on a manual.

12.89 is the fastest I have heard of in an f-body. So 12.6 would be believable for a c5. they are 2-300 pounds lighter. theirs your 2 to 3 tenths.
I ran a 13.1 when I had a lid and flowmaster cat-back. no powershifting, and I was very slow at hitting third. My car was 12 second capable stock. But it is a no option.
