96 T/A vs. 97 Grand Prix GTP
Im about to race a GTP which I believe is stock. Exactly how much of a threat does he pose? My T/A has a K&N FIPK, Flowmaster exhaust, Hypertech Power Programmer, Ported Heads, CC306 Cam, Superior Gear & Axle, Vigilante Torque Converter, and thats about it.

That year of the GTP has nothing on even a stock LT1. You should be good.
Race for pinks, if you're any good.
Have him pop the hood, just in case...

So, your car is a low 12 second car ,making 350-390rwhp and you are wondering if you can beat a stock 180rwhp 4dr Grand prix?
GTPs can be made fast, but aren't all that when they are stock. I remember layin' the smack down on a bolt on'd '97 Z28 6spd in my '00 GTP with $300 worth of mods.

hehehe, I just raced the GTP today and ate it. Bad. It wasnt stock, it had simple stuff, like exhaust, intake, etc, and a 75 shot of nos is what he said. I only raced to 90mph and had him WAYYY back there, lol.
