Default question on lt's

i recently purchased a set of flowtech lt's after being told by a local speed shop that fitment was great and he had installed quite a few pairs. I am not made of money but if these are going to be constant exhaust leaks or tough installation I would rather save up and get a set of kooks or something of that level. If anyone could tell me their experiences good and bad. Also what is thought of acufab tb's i havent heard anything about them

IMO the flowtechs are not the best of headers. If anything you should go with the Pacesetters. Actually you should go with the coated Pacesetters.

Is there any reason why you need stainless headers?

Agreed. Many F-body performance part sites stopped selling the Flowtechs basically because they're crap. For around the same money, you can get some Pacesetters. Texas-speed.com has a deal right now on them: for $500 you get coated longtube Pacesetters with a Texas Speed ORY. Pretty damn good deal to me.

Hookers or pacesetters. Get them coated for sure whatever you get.

i "had" a set of flowtechs and quickly regretted getting them. a few months after install the leaks started and those 1/4" thich flanges is the problem.if they had thicker flanges they would be o.k
