2002 Z06 Prices?
I'm looking at a Z06 this weekend, it's all stock but has a full set of Kumhos and 17,000 miles. Price will be $32,000 - $32,500. Based on the Z06's that I have been checking out, that is a pretty good price. Dealers are looking for $33,500 or more for the same car.
I've also looked seriously at one at a dealer, with new tires and brakes, with 32,000 miles. It would be like $31,000 even.
Any last minute input?

Sounds like a pretty decent price. I don't really like the Kumho tires and have heard other people complain as well. I don't think they give you the full potential of the car in the corners.
I just put a new set of oem GY supercar's on my Z and I love them. Good luck!

You got a good deal. 04's with 17,000 miles around here are advertised at $37,000 and higher.
Another dealer has a 02 with 11,000 miles for $34,200 firm... another price point.

getauto.com, corvettetrader, corvettetraderonline, vettefinders, traderonline (regular and collectors) and ebay were good places to look

I just purchased my speedway white 01 zo6 with 38,000 miles on the clock for 25K. It was bone stock with a lot of tread left on the tires, and I have not had any oil issues with my 2k mi drive home.
As to average price for these cars I have seen a lot for 28-30K range either 01 or 02.

$32k is going to be in the upper/mid to upper in with private sellers. You could save $2k to $4k if look hard enough.
Up to you.. if you must have now, $32k isn't being ripped off. Its also not the deal of the year.

new tires definitely a plus. Anything over 15k miles on the stock ones (that's assuming it was driven
"gently") - and you're looking at extra grand on top of the price you pay for the car to replace the tires right away.
Sounds like a fair deal. Good luck with the test dive.
