Anyone ever installed an ls1 pcm onto lt1? As the tittle says?
I was thinking on trying this myself... Using an ls1 reluctor wheel with an electromotive crank trigger kit or something similar...
Any thoughts?

uhh OK??? Why would u want to do that for.... Do u have a lot of money or are u just realy bored...Besides dont think it can be done.... But like I said y would you want to do that?

yeah well his title says LS1 PCM on an LT1.... YOu can get a COP setup (Coil on plug) setup but I believe you will have to go to aftermarket engine mgmt... like BS3 or FAST..... if you plug in an LS1 PCM even with a COP setup your car will probably never start.... ever....

Not something worth taking on imho but I would love to see someone else try it because if it works out and proves to be beneficial then they could do a write up and save me the leg work and headache. So I say go for it

Sorry dont have pics at the monent and my car is at a secret location working out a few bugs abd getting ready to dyno tune when i get it back I will get some pics also my big stuff 3 came with a brand new ls1 wiring harness a crank sensor and cam sensor and a reluctor ring that bolts to my ati balancer nice setup
