Default FFHP 408 + T88 = WOW. Preliminary dyno numbers inside!!! 1000+

Well, we just got back from the dyno for the first test and all I can say is WOW!! We had some issues with the boost controller so we havent done any full pulls yet, but this is what we got.

All runs were preformed on a mustang dyno!

The graph starts out at about 2000 RPM and ends at about 3200 RPM, and in that span we managed 1026.8 Ft/Lbs @ 3000 RPM Horse power reached just at 700 RWHP under 4000 RPM and climbing fast, we should see 1000 RWHP when finished. Note: This was with 3/4 tank of 94 and a 1/4 tank of c16 only, NO METH as of yet and we were reading 16-17 psi.

I will try to post up the graph later tonight, but I won't have the video until sometime next week (hopefully).

Setup:
FFHP 408 iron block (8.7 CR)
ET performance 245's
LS6 manifold/ stock TB
FFHP front mount t88 turbo w/spearco intercooler
Fully Built Auto 4L60E RPM Trans and 3500 stall 4.10
Forgot to mention it is in a corvette

I think this was our 2nd pull of the day, but it's the only good vid i have.

Yowza! That's diesel torque. Can't wait to see you turn some rpm with it!

WowHoly SOB...thats crazy power for only 3k rpms esp. on a stang dyno with a LS6 intake and stock TB. That things gonna cause any earthquake when you finally wrap it all the up to 6500 or however high you plan on bringing to!!! Congrats to buddy!!!
You plan on doing a 90/90 on it cuz you'd see a big gain there wouldnt you?? Whats the max boost you're looking for?? What kinda rear suspension is under there i.e. traction mods and such? Is that still a vette IRS and what kinda 3500 stall w/ those 4.10s? What kinda rims/tires did you dyno on?
How's that tranny holding up so far and whats it rated to?? This gonna be a drag only car or an occasionally street machine?????
Sorry for all the questions but im just amazed and very curious.......

No we will not be using a fast intake manifold on this but we are in the process of making our own sheet metal intake to use with a 90 or bigger TB.

Around 25 or so. maybe more, maybe less. just depends on how things turn out.

For now all the suspension is stock except the front leaf spring if i remember correctly. i am not really sure on the stall brand wise. i think it is a TCI or a precision. And yes it is still an IRS car but it is getting Minitubed probably this week.

the trans has held up to about 130 nitorus pass so far but i dont thing it will handle this kind of power. this is going to be a track and street car.
