well today went into autozone the one a few miles from my old town in Indiana i use to live at, and went to the oil section and right there two full rows of it German Castrol 0w-30 European Formula. ive been searchin for that stuff since my last oil change and the one place i didnt look since it was like 45 minutes away, and there it was. so gonna buy 5 quarts of it this week and on my next oil change will have it. No more Royal Purple for me, didnt help pressure at all.

awsome, i wish i could find that stuff around me. It's impossible. I use Royal Purple or Mobil 1 if the Royal Purple isn't available in any normal weight.

its doesnt thin out like other oils, supposably it gives better and more reliable lubrication and helps with pressure since it wont thin out over thousands of miles.

0 weight will thin out more than 5 or 10 weight. Actually, 0 weight was Invented and is Designed for gas mileage.

the german castrol will hold a higher viscosity rating than mobil 1 at 100C. It's been lab tested by many forum members already, Patman being the biggest advocate and avid tester.

Does it say "Made In Germany" on the back. Ive seen the European Formula that says Made In USA. Ive got 12 quarts sitting in my room in the Autozone bags. Im going to see if they have more tomorrow. Ive heard they are going to stop selling it here.

I just found this new bottle. It seems that it is the same oil, just in a new labeled bottle. The bottle differences are minimal. It says Castrol Syntec Unlock The Power European Formula SAE 0W-30 Full Synthetic on the front with that same graphic style as before. The back has like a red block on the back that says "Get the SYNTEC edge". It says Made In Germany in a diff location and smaller. Not for sale outside the Americas. I smelled it and it smells exactly the same as the old bottle contents. Kind of like alcohol as previously stated.

Oh and you should get 6 quarts, not 5. It takes 5.5 quarts stock but some people put in the full 6. It can take something like 6.5 before it gets overfilled.
